Our Team
Meet the Team at the DLC
Loreen Kelly
Owner/ Director
I have worked and volunteered in social services for over 20 years, 17 of which have been at the Dundas Learning Centre (DLC). I am excited by the direction the program is heading with the help of the client advisory committee, staff and volunteers.
In my time outside of the DLC, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children; camping, hiking, riding bikes and going on walks.

I have been a part of the Dundas Learning Centre team in different capacities over the years; starting as a student from the Mohawk College Social Service Worker, volunteer, relief staff and now as a full time staff. Over the years, I have referred to the DLC as my “happy place” since I first started here.
When I’m not running creative programming at the learning centre, I can be found at home working on my own projects including pottery, painting and caring for my plants.

I was privileged to come aboard with the DLC at its very beginning in the basement of St.Paul’s church over 25 years ago, right after completing my BA in Sociology at McMaster. In between raising my two children, I was able to come back to the DLC full time and be a part of the change and growth that is continually happening.

I joined the team at the Dundas Learning Centre in 2017 after many years working as a personal support worker in retirement homes and in direct care. I enjoy creating craft and art projects for everyone at the DLC and bringing my dog Beau in to spend time with everyone here.
In my spare time I can be found outside gardening or spending time with my husband and 4 daughters.
